Dr. Walsh has experience working with justice-involved individuals across the lifespan, including those involved in the juvenile justice system (age 12 to 17). I provide developmentally informed forensic evaluations for justice-involved youth. My assessments consider adolescent development, trauma history, environmental influences, and individual strengths to offer a comprehensive understanding of a young person’s functioning. Services include evaluations of competency to stand trial, mitigation, waiver to adult court, and psychodiagnostic assessment. My reports translate complex developmental psychological issues into clear, practical recommendations that support courts, attorneys, and agencies in making decisions that balance accountability, public safety, and the rehabilitative needs of the youth.
